Microwave delivered without probe. :(. We had a built in monogram microwave installed 3/2023. By 2026, it stopped working and was deemed in repairable. GE offered us a new one at 50% off but we had pay for shipping, installation, and new trim kit. Microwave installed but no probe in box. It™€™s a lovely microwave and we love our monogram range ™€¦ wish things had gone better with the microwave.

Easy installation. Can™€™t disable sound

Pricy but was only model that fit in my cabinet opening for an older GE Profile built in microwave. Easy to install with built-in kit. One feature it doesn™€™t have that my previous GE Profile had was a way to disable the sound such as the button beeps. Is there a way to do this that isn™€™t shared in the owners manual?

Pros: - Looks nice - Quiet running Cons: - Opening and closing of door is a very noisy operation. - Placement of the button panel is too close to the door opening allowing an accidental selection of a one-button cook cycle for now empty oven to take place. - Layout of the operation buttons could be organized in a more intuitive manner.

Slightly Disappointed

I really like the product and don't mind paying the 50% premium cost over the GE Profile model. Except, I am very disappointed that the interior of the oven is now black, instead of the bright white that I had in my old model. The darker color makes it much more difficult to see the food inside. Also, the new LED light bulb is not as bright and the incandescent light bulb in the previous oven. Again, both make it more difficult to see the food inside. Additionally, the "Monogram" name is practically invisible on the front of the oven. If I am going to pay a premium price, it would be nice to at least be reminded of the Monogram name clearly when I look at the oven.

We love our new Monogram microwave oven. It replaces the GE Profile microwave oven we had for 19 years. It still worked but you could no longer read the digital display. The new oven looks great; very classy with the stainless trim kit. It works well and it very easy to use once we turned off the child lock function. The oven compartment and turntable are larger than our previous microwave. It meets all our expectations. Although it is more expensive than other microwave ovens, we recommend this microwave without hesitation.

Not worth the Money!

The microwave is not worth $1000. It works fine, however we had 3 problems. We bought this microwave for our office and we needed to buy this specific brand, for some reason. 1st problem it arrived and had a sizable dent on the top of it when it arrived, very strange that a Brand New $1000 microwave would have a dent on it. 2nd Problem when I called customer service they told me they couldn't help me and that I had to call another number, which made no sense since I called the # on the website for support. 3rd problem a new and annoying feature on the microwave is that it when it finsihes heating you can't just open the microswave door (lever) automatically, you must unlock it by pushing another random button. And there isnt a way to disable this feature. the product is not worth $1000. Even the paneling along the outside of the microwave cost extra and is not included.

Beautiful appearance, love the glass control panel; it is sleek and responds well to touch. BUT the spec sheet describes that you can "navigate settings with the back-lit LED display". This is not true for my unit, only the timer and clock are backlit and the light intensity is not variable; the control panel itself is not lit. In a dark or dim room the control "buttons" are not visible. Bodewell customer service says that this is normal, Monogram department says they aren't sure and they'll send a service tech. See a demonstration at your dealer before you buy, don't rely on the spec sheet description.

The face control panel is not back lit and hence hard to read the panel, especially when starting the system. I am wondering if the installer forgot to wire the back light. But nevertheless we have a lot of problems without the back lighting. Please respond. Pete Patel

Powerful, roomy microwave with 1-touch start

This is a reasonably powerful, roomy microwave with 1-touch start (30 seconds), which you can press again to add +30s. The downside is the interior light is laughably dim inside a sad gray interior. How long this will last before a magnetron repair is unknown. The open button is mechanical and requires some force to open. (versus other microwaves where you pull on the handle) I purchased the built-in kit through Monogram and installed it myself using a drill for pilot holes.

Microwave with a good profile

It's a nice looking microwave with good features. It's easy to use. We did have to replace the previous microwave beacuse the button to open the door broke. At that point we had the microwave for 5 years in an office kitchen so it may have just suffered from wear and tear.
