Bought this model to replace a refrigerator in my home that was starting not to work well. I like the sleek design and that there are no handles that stick out. Just grab the pocket to open. Forgot to measure old fridge, so this one is about 4" smaller overall. Not a big deal, but if you want a bigger freezer, than opt for a larger fridge. I like, and trust GE appliances and would purchase again.

Very disappointed. The crisper drawers are so low it hurts my back to reach them. The shelves are wire, so all your smaller items topple over. And when it is humid, the seal on the door gets stuck and you can barely wrench the door open.

This refrigerator has wire racks inside, not glass. Wire racks are way easier to clean! The crisper drawers slide easy! The door holds so many things and they all got cold very quickly. The exterior is a patterned black which doesn't show finger prints! I would highly recommend this 17.5cu.ft. fridge to anyone!

Stopped Keeping Food Cold One Week After Purchase

My new fridge was delivered and installed 12/20/2021. Worked for a week and gradually got warmer and warmer. Made an appt. thru GE for service, scheduled for 1/7/2022 between 8-12, no one ever showed up no one answered the phone. Call GE back oh that was 3rd Party that wasn't an appt. for service! Now have GE sending someone out on 1/17/2022 between 1-5 p.m We shall see.

When this was first delivered about 6 weeks ago, we had to refuse delivery because of the severe scratches of the side of the refrigerator. A replacement took about 2 weeks to deliver and it was also scratched; in exactly the same place. So we checked the shipping order to verify that this was different refrigerator. The serial number on the replacement refrigerator is different from the first one, meaning they were indeed two different refrigerators with exactly the same scratch pattern on the same side. Very unhappy to have received a "brand new, in the box" refrigerator with obvious damage to the side.

When this was first delivered about 6 weeks ago, we had to refuse delivery because of the severe scratches of the side of the refrigerator. The store then ordered a replacement for us and it took about 2 weeks to deliver. The replacement was also scratched; in exactly the same place. So we checked the shipping order and the serial number on this replacement refrigerator is different from the first one. So, they were two different refrigerators with exactly the same scratch pattern on the same side. Probably scratched by some mechanical moving device at the factory. Our store refused to deliver any additional refrigerators to us because they said that they would very likely all be scratched in the same manner. So, we kept the second one and hid the scratches behind a calendar. Very unhappy to have received a "brand new in the box" refrigerator directly from the store with obvious damage to the side. You might want to visually check your refrigerator at the store prior to shipping. Oh, by the way, the store also refused to discount the refrigerator because they that Hotpoint was not allowing discounts because of damage from the factory.
