No screws included. No drill holes for vent. 10 minute job turned out to be 2.5 hours! Keep in mind you need to people holding vent while 3rd is drilling into wall.

We love our GE vent hood; we like the look of it, and it's easy to operate. A minor inconvenience is that it doesn't have a night light, but that's probably because we chose a less expensive version. We were also extremely impressed with the 2 young men that were sent to install it.

10-min. installation - No way!

Was replacing a very old unit, w/electric supply/entry on LEFT side. This one was set up for right-side entry. Even if electric supply was not an issue, this still is a muli-hour job. Plus, it took 2 people (and the box, for interim support), to help hold it in place while screwing the unit into the support backets.
Lighting is not great. Included bulb can likely be replaced with higher-lumen, LED, but the cover panel seems to absorb a lot of the bulb brightness. Our previous unit was over 30 years old, so time will tell if this one can approach that level of reliability.

Purchased this vent hood for my camp, it came in and was exceptional inn design and the look was worthy of putting in any home. The hood took @ 1 hour to install. I haver used it several times and it has performed flawlessly. Thanks for making a great product. Also thank you Chavis Furniture in Chickasaw Alabama for have great GE products !!

Very simple and basic. Works fine for our space. Reached out to customer service to request a GE decal/cling since this appliance does not have one. All of our other appliances have the GE decal. Customer service wouldn't send one. Just a simple basic hood range. Nothing fancy. It works.

It's a nice vent hood. I bought it in black hoping it had more of a matte finish, however it is more shiny than matte. Fingerprints do show on it.
The fan is a little on the loud side but it's not like it's running all the time. So, that's not a big deal for me. I don't think it's any louder than most vent hoods.
The light that comes with it isn't very bright so I will be replacing it.
The instructions said it was a 10 minute install. That wasn't the case for us, but my husband installed it and he sometimes makes things more difficult than they need to be. :)

This range hood looks great and was pretty easy to install, but I would not believe the claim on the box that installation takes 10 minutes! Installation is easier if you move the oven out from under first. The keyhole screw holes are helpful in getting the hood held in place while tightening the screws. I wish the instructions had been more accurate because the wiring instructions only mention two wires from the hood and the actual appliance had three. I had to call an electrician to verify how to connect it. (There were 2 black wires, both of which I connected to the black wire from the power supply.)

was actually quite difficult to assemble and the instructions were somewhat confusing, the lighting was very poor and does not seem to vent as well as expected with a rear discharge set-up, seems to leak air around the blocking plate. the finish and look were very nice and covered more area, i upgraded the light to 100 watt led version and was much better, should not expect too much for the price, would recommend better instructions and also better electrical options for the lead in from home wiring.

The hood really looks good. My problem with the hood is the light. It is not bright enough and should be located near the back or at least nearer the middle so light is spread over the whole cooking area,
