Having had a dehumidifier that ceased to work following a major rain of 3 days, our basement had rising water, and the musty smell was making its way upstairs. I looked online poured over numerous reviews, and for the size and cost settled on Frigidaire. Couldn't have been more pleased.

in a small basement when set first to continuous and then to 40 percent humidity, it has gotten to 55% after 5-6 weeks? not super impressed

My old dehumidifier was no longer able to get the humidity level below 50% when I always had it set at 40%. The room was now at 60-65%. I purchased this product, took the dehumidifier out of the box, plugged it in and within a few hours my room was back to 40%. I like that the unit is also fairly quiet, certainly relative to my old unit. Highly recommended

My dehumidifier works perfectly. Only complaint I have is that is raises the temperature in the room a good 5 degrees. In hot, humid Florida that is not comfortable.

This dehumidifier has been running and removing the dampness in an 1948 basement. Other demumidifiers shut off because it has been around 50Degrees. This one has done the job well and not shutoff. It has removed25 percent humidity and soon it will be dry enough to waterproof the walls.Thank you for a quality product

I purchased this dehumidifier for our basement. We were getting new floors and the installer recommended having a dehumidifier. I'm amazed at how much humidity and how much water fills in the basin. Our basement is so much more comfortable now!

My old one finally gave up so I needed to get a new one. It is to keep our basement from forming any mildew and the like. Worked great from the moment I turned it on. Within a day it took the basement down 15% in humidity. I have it draining directly into a sump pump hole.

My basement has been leaking after it rains for quite a while now and I have been using towels to "help"dry-out, I've been using the dehumidifier for just about a week now and it's really making a huge difference I believe the towels can be eliminated now,.it's dry!

Looks aside, this dehumidifier is working very ell in my basement, which is about 900 sf. I always hook up a drain hose so it can run as often as needed without having to empty the bucket. The controls are simple and straight forward to use and this 35 pint unit is not very noisy at all. And it is a great looking stylish dehumidifier...which if this were in a game room or play room would be more important than being in a basement. Excellent unit!

Compact, easy to roll around. It pulls a lot of water out of the air. Easy to empty drawer with handle. 4 instead of 5 stars because it is not quiet, and we wish the cord was a tad longer.

This is my first time owning a dehumidifier. Overall great design, easy to wheel around with a handle that lifts up, easy to empty the bucket, you can set a timer, have it running continuously, or set it to your desired humidity level. It works well to quickly remove moisture in a large room. You do have to keep it running throughout the day to maintain low humidity if it's very humid outside. It's somewhat loud, so I wouldn't be able to sleep with it running. Great product, and I would buy again.

This unit replaced and older one ion a hobby room where humidity tends to be an issue. It is very quiet, efficient and easy to operate and setup. The old unit would run nonstop wasting electricity, while this unit only turns on when needed. Properly sizing dehumidifier to size/load of the room is the key. Will see with time how long it lasts.

The build quality is excellent. One big plus is how quiet this dehumidifier is. It runs in my bedroom with no problem. The controls are very well laid out and easy to understand. It is doing a great job of removing the excess humidity in our Florida home. Very happy with this purchase.

I purchased this 2 years ago and it has stopped working. I set it to 35% it runs a little and shuts off. We had a lot of rain and there is water in the basement floors and carpet and no water is being extracted by the humidifier. I even put it on CO and still nothing the fan runs cold air but no water is coming into the bucket and there is plenty in the floors. Didn't last 2 full years. It worked great last summer but now it's nearly spring lots of rain and it is not extracting water.

This unit is super quiet and is collecting water 2 full containers a day. Now the air is thinner feeling and feels like I had the AC running. Here in Florida between seasons, we won™™t run the heater or AC, so this has been a MUST.

I bought this unit for my Mom because she has arthritis and is very sensitive to humidity. The unit stopped working in 6 months. The unit was still warranty so Frigidaire provided a replacement. The replacement has stopped working and just turns off by itself after a few minutes.
